Acting as Deputy chair of the financial services sub-committee of the 30% Club in Ireland, Andrea led their pivotal research project, “Making the Change Count”
Andrea is a founding member of the Country Steering Committee for OUTstanding in Ireland driving LGBT+ inclusion across Irish industry.
She acted as a Senior Consultant with the DCU Centre of Excellence for Diversity and Inclusion.
Andrea holds a BA from UCD and a Masters in Human Resource Development from Sheffield Hallam University. She is a qualified executive coach and a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

RECENT PROJECTS

Provided advisory and consulting support to the diversity committee of a global construction firm to initiate their diversity and inclusion strategy, leading to the launch of the strategy across their global business.
- Designed multi-year diversity and inclusion strategy for a multinational insurance organization including providing training for their board of directors on Driving Diversity & Inclusion, discussing the role of the board and the impact of bias and groupthink on business and people decisions.

Audited the diversity and inclusion strategy of an Irish semi-state organization, working with stakeholders to build a comprehensive set of recommendations and enhancements to inform a three-year programme of change.

Co-developed and delivered a pilot Leadership Development Programme for Women, with Dr. Melrona Kirrane of Dublin City University, including review and assessment of the programme. Participants reported their knowledge going from “fair/satisfactory” (84%) to “very good/excellent” (94%) on completion of the programme and as a result, the sponsor, Enterprise Ireland, approved a full rollout of the programme in 2020.

Developed and delivered Inclusive Leadership training, including unconscious bias awareness and understanding privilege, for a global technology client resulting in 100% satisfaction ratings from participants.

Designed a strategy for the Year of Inclusion in Aviation, 2020 as a senior consultant with DCU Centre of Excellence for D&I, collaborating with the Advisory Committee of leading aviation industry representatives.

Speaker and panelist for firms across financial services, technology, semi-state and public sectors, including speaking at Women in Finance 2019 conference in the Dublin Conference center with >500 participants.
